There are too many places I really want to visit. Truth be told, travelling is one of my passions, there is nothing I love more than a good holiday to escape the madness of the day. Whether it is a quick jaunt to a neighbouring country or sitting more than 10 hrs to somewhere further. It is always a pleasure to touch down somewhere different, with fresh sights and sounds to explore.

Of the many places I want to go, these are a few of the more interesting ones that I am looking forward to;

1) The blue lagoon

Imagine taking a dip in the hot spring in the dead of winter. The place looks gorgeous too. Havn't had a winter holiday in a long time, so this would be nice.

2) Machu Pichu

Machu Picchu (Quechua: Machu Pikchu, "Old Peak", pronounced [ˈmɑtʃu ˈpiktʃu]) is a pre-Columbian Inca site located 2,430 metres (8,000 ft) above sea level[1]. It is situated on a mountain ridge above the Urubamba Valley in Peru, which is 80 kilometres (50 mi) northwest of Cuzco and through which the Urubamba River flows. Abit worried about the altitude sickness tho' but I think it will be so awesome.

3) The Pyramids of Giza

Who would not want to visit the pyramids, I cannot imagine. It is just such an amazing and beautiful sight so I really want to see it in person. Also am interested to take the tour inside to see what it's like. Pretty morbid I suppose considering these are meant to be tombs but oh so fascinating.

The list is expansive but these are just to name a few. Not sure when we will have the time or the budget to go, so I will just have to satisfy myself with short jaunts for now and our minimoon in Sept. Looking forward to lounging by the pool and hearing the waves rolling against the beach.
